 THE CONSULTATION:
All consultations are with Dr. Tessler or Dr. Aronovitz and are free, with no obligation.
Honest Evaluation
The consultation is a critical step in the hair replacement process. At that time we can determine whether or not you are a candidate for surgical hair restoration. You will have the opportunity to express your desires and objectives and acquire a realistic, honest idea of what can or cannot be accomplished. If you are not a candidate we will tell you so.
During the consultation we will also:
- Evaluate your present degree of hair loss
- Assess what further loss is likely to occur with aging
- Consider the thickness and texture of the hair in your donor area
- Discuss the hair styles that will best suit your needs
The Future: A Crucial Consideration
Hair loss is a dynamic, ongoing process. Therefore, it is crucial to consider what is likely to happen in the future when planning permanent hair replacement.
For example, filling in " too low on the forehead" without consideration of future hair loss -- particularly in young men -- is careless. As experts with decades of experience, we will discuss this with you during your consultation.
If you are unable to come to the office, we can evaluate photographs of your hair loss (print or digital). You can contact our office for specific instructions
